TYB encourages its players to seek out opportunities to play basketball whenever the player, with the support of his/her parents, is interested in doing so. Such opportunities are available during the summer when many other "Triton" sports are dormant. Though not TYB-sponsored events, we are aware of various summer leagues that offer our players the chance to continue to hone their skills, and TYB will assist putting coaches and players together to enter teams into these leagues.
Please note, however, that these summer leagues are not extensions of the winter TYB programs, including its "travel" programs.
As these programs are outside of TYB control, we cannot guarantee that every interested player will be placed on a summer team, but we will do our best to ensure that as many interested players as possible are matched up with willing coaches.
