Philosophy:

Take pride in Triton Youth Basketball and the Triton community, while showing respect to our parents/guardians, coaches, referees and competitors.

Stress a competitive, fun and safe environment putting each basketball player and team in a position to be successful with the goal of capitalizing on each player's strengths while teaching to improve on their weaknesses.

Services:

TYB offers services to grades 3 thru 8 with the goal to teach competitive basketball in a fun and safe environment.

TYB does not currently offer an in-district option for K thru 2. We do recommend the Ipswich YMCA's winter basketball program for age K thru 2.



Skills required:

No prior basketball skills are required as we offer different divisions to accommodate different skill-levels.  We do require the following of each player and coach:

  - Great attitude and unselfish behavior
  - Willingness to listen, learn compete and have fun
  - Respect for themselves, all people and the game of basketball

Eligibility:

Girls and boys in grades 3 thru 8 living in:

  - Salisbury
  - Rowley
  - Newbury / Byfield

or attending school in the Triton School District.
