Fall Basketball Open Gym for Players and Coaches

Invitation: Join Triton High School coaches Karen Christian and Gregg Dollas and youth basketball coach Tom Canning at the Triton High School gym. The focus of the practices will be to improve fundamentals and team skills. The coaches will also work on offensive and defensive concepts.

*****We also would like to invite all youth travel and recreation coaches to join us at the Open Gym practices, so we can work together to teach the drills, skills, and concepts that players need to be successful players at a higher level.

Who: Girls who live in the Triton District or enrolled in Triton entering grades 5-8 for the 2010-2011 school year

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00-7:30 at the Triton High School gymnasium starting September 7^th.

Cost: This is an open gym invitation. There is no fee. Feel free to make a donation towards the building of the Central Street Outdoor Basketball courts. Make checks payable to Triton Youth Basketball and specify basketball courts.

Fall Basketball Teams
Additional Opportunity: Players who come to Open Gyms have the option to play on a fall Triton Basketball team for a fee. We hope to have 10-14 girls per team. If we have more than 14 girls interested in playing on a team, we will have to hold tryouts. Girls who do not make the team are still invited to Open Gym to develop skills.

Who: We have 5^th, 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th grade teams. 8^th grade coach-Tom Canning; 7^th grade coach- Karen Christian; 6^th grade coach- Gregg Dollas; 5^th grade coach is TBA

Games: 8-10 games on Saturdays starting September 18^thand ending November 13th. If your child wants to participate but plays on a fall team, such as soccer on Saturdays, let us know, and we may be able to request specific times for all our games.

Location: Gordon College, The RAC in NH, and surrounding gyms

Cost: 225$ includes 8-10 games, additional team only practices, and uniforms-Make checks payable to Gregg Dollas. Money is due September 7^th.

If you plan to attend the FREE Open Gym days or also plan to play on the fall team, please register with Karen Christian at . Please register by Tuesday, August 24^th.
